CSC Theatre of the Oppressed Workshop
Creative Strategies for Change invites you to a half day exploration of the Theatre of the Oppressed arsenal of games and activities. In this community workshop for teens and adults of all ages, we will build creative skills for healing, dialogue, and social change, that are applicable in any context. All are welcome, no experience necessary. “The theater is language, capable of being utilized by any person.” Theatre of the Oppressed Founder, Augusto Boal This workshop will engage with Theatre of the Oppressed activities through the lens of the CSC 3: social justice frameworks, arts engagement, and restorative practices. Facilitated by CSC Co-Founders Rachael K. Sharp and K. Salim Ajanku. The CSC Theatre of the Oppressed Workshop will be held June 11th at Redline Denver located at 2350 Arapahoe Street, from 1:00 pm to 5:00pm. Registration is open until June 7th at 8:00pm.
