The NYC Coalition of Community Charter Schools & The Office of the Brooklyn Borough President, Eric L. Adams, would like to present a Meet & Greet for Independent Charter School Parent Leaders. Come out to meet and greet parent leaders from the NYC independent charter school network, that includes over 100 schools citywide. Discuss the importance of voter registration and voter education for our parents. Learn how to advocate for a sound education from the Know Your Rights Parent Ambassadors and help shape the advocacy agenda for charter school parents. Light Breakfast will be served; children welcomed.

Hear true stories from Indy area teachers, told live in the Clowes Court of the Eiteljorg Museum. This event is co-hosted by the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, Chalkbeat Indiana, and Teachers Lounge Indy, and is free and open to the public.
