Dare 2 Dream Conference, Memphis
UCAN of Memphis will host its fourth annual Dare 2 Dream Conference for teens and their parents.
The youth mentoring organization will provide workshops for middle and high school students on social media, conflict resolution, goal setting, and cyberbullying presented by Brandy Flynn, Jamal Whitlow, MPD and Nicole Jackson. Parents can attend a workshop on building social emotional engagement presented by Facing History and Ourselves.
The event will be highlighted with an inspirational keynote address from kidpreneur Moziah Bridges, CEO of Mo’s Bows. Bridges is notably known for his handmade bow ties and has been featured on the Today Show, the Steve Harvey Show, Good Morning America and Shark Tank.

From unexpected second jobs to unusual classroom purchases, from incredible lifestyle hacks to heartbreaking sacrifice, it's time to hear directly from educators about the state of teacher pay in Indiana. Hear true stories from Indy area teachers, told live in the Clowes Court of the Eiteljorg Museum.
This event is co-hosted by the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, Chalkbeat Indiana, and Teachers Lounge Indy, and is free and open to the public.
